Alaska #1 Door Service has been serving the Mat-Su Valley and surrounding areas since 1984. From 1984-2017 Alaska #1 Door Service was owned and operated by Mark Horman. Throughout his career Mark would often arrive to job sites on his motorcycle, with tools in hand and ready to complete garage door installations. In 2018 Alaska #1 Door Service was purchased by its current owner, Tom Wilson. Tom purchased Alaska #1 Door Service after working 20+ years in the garage door industry. Since becoming a business owner, Tom has employed his wife (Sandi) and daughter (Balee), as well as multiple additional service technicians. Tom prides himself on being a family owned and operated business, and plans to continue servicing the Mat-Su Valley and surrounding areas for many years to come.

Can you bill my home insurance?

We cannot bill your insurance, but we will provide all the documentation that you need to file for reimbursement.

What is included with your free repair estimate?

All of our estimates include a fully detailed scope of the work to be completed. You will receive a written report with a breakdown of the cost and time estimated for your project.

How will you handle the scheduling of your work orders?

We communicate with you every step of the way. If we can see that we will not have the work completed by the agreed-upon time, we will reach out to get a new completion date.
